We spent a week in Chicago dogsitting and got a chance to take in a lot of the local sights.
Shedd Aquarium: Got there when it opened and went right inside. We came out about 3 hours later and the line was humungous! Had never been to the Shedd ever so this was a treat. Saw the Jellies jellyfish exhibit and it was awesome.
Got a chance to go up in the Willis (Sears) Tower and stand on the Ledge. Perfect weather for getting some snapshots of the Chicago area, too. Note that the Tall Ships were in town as well.
